Wednesday Literacy Link Up #2

Welcome back for the Wednesday Link Up .  As promised, I'm going to be offering this link up each week and of course, the second week of it just happened to be my week of vacation before heading back to work and I had a technical difficulty so it didn't get posted.  So this post comes to you a little bit late!   Meanwhile, I was on a road trip around the Midwest with some good friends and we had a blast.  We started in my home state up North in Cleveland at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I also got to meet up with some other friends that I hadn't seen in awhile.  What fun that was.  Then we headed to Saugatuck, Michigan and what a cute town that was.  Roaming the town was fun,  seeing the lake and the boats was just tranquil, which all made for a great few days.  And then we headed to Chicago where I have never walked so much in my life. (25,000+ steps on the Fit Bit) We saw tons and had some great food too.  The highlight was perhaps The Architectural Boat Ride, which I highly recommend. Now back to reality with school starting in a week, and the building is closed for the "Final Wax" job of the floors. UGH!  Perhaps it will force me to just enjoy my last week!

As I'm sure you know, Teachers Pay Teachers had their fabulous Best Year Back to School Sale. Not only do I love to see what customers buy from my store, but I truly am a customer too!  I bought my share of goodies and went back to shop more than once...as always.  What are some of your favorite products that you bought or your most popular product that sold for the sellers who follow me? Please post below in the comments if you are a buyer and link up if you are a Teacher Author. Then don't forget to share on your page or send you followers over to take a peek at the great collection that will appear below.

For those starting back to work, good luck for an easy transition back. For those of you still on vacation, keep enjoying every last minute. And for everyone, don't forget to stop back next WEDNESDAY for more Link Up Fun!

And in case you are wondering what some of my favorites in my store are:

Just print on card stock, laminate and cut, and add clothespins or chip clips. Students clap out the word and count the syllables.  Very low prep, bright and colorful, and a tried and true format!

This includes a board and matching spinner for each month of the school year.  Simply spin the spinner, find the corresponding row on the individual game board, and your students practice identifying the letter name or the letter sound.  This added practice will be just right for increasing score on Letter Naming Fluency or Letter Sound Fluency assessments.

So do stop by and take a peek. And of course, link up some of your favorites below!

Until Next Time,
Taryn
